Ep. 37 - The Big Dance: How to NAIL Race Day

Ep. 37 - The Big Dance: How to NAIL Race Day

This week's episode of The Sunday Shakeout features some of my biggest tips for how to succeed on race day. You're on the start line of the biggest race of your life and the gun goes off, but you've already psyched yourself out. You had decent race prep for the biggest race of your life. You invited your friends and your family, even your grandmother for this big day. But on that start line, you're scared, you feel weak and incapable. You would much rather be on the couch watching Netflix instead of racing. All of the sudden, all of that hard work during training goes down the drain. You have already taken yourself out of it. Now why did this happen? What went wrong? In this episode, we are going to dive into what the problem is and how you can avoid it via proper preparation both physically and psychologically. I hope you enjoy this episode of The Sunday Shakeout!

In this episode, I discuss:

  • Discipline
  • How to prepare for your race psychologically
  • How to prepare physically
  • And how to nail your big race when the day comes
