With a background in Anthropology, Sociology, and Communication from university in Rome, he developed a strong interest in critical consumption and sustainable food systems. This passion led to the creation of a social association focused on permaculture and local food. After working in food and wine media, Emiliano sought hands-on experience in winemaking, spending two formative harvest seasons at a biodynamic winery in Northern Lazio—an experience that deeply shaped his vision of natural wine. In 2013, Emiliano returned to his hometown of Priverno to co-found Sete, turning a shared passion for natural farming into a thriving project rooted in community and tradition.
