Finding Aligned Friendships and Activities To Do Together

Ep 130: Continuing last week’s conversation around friendship, we wanted to dive into how to attract friends who you can be your authentic self around. Perhaps you share similar lifestyles, passions, values and energy.

We talk about the masks we wear around people, code-switching and self-censorship. These barriers can affect people getting to know the real us which stops them from also sharing the authentic version of them with you. This “filtered front” can be emotionally draining and hinder friendships from being as fun, filling or deep as they could if you both let your guard down.

Then we share a bunch of activities to do with friends from spontaneous 1:1 meetups, coordinated group efforts, holiday-related gatherings to doing productive home projects together. There’s really something for everyone in this episode!
