Welcome back to Part 2 of our three-part Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC) miniseries, where we explore the latest advancements in PBC treatment and disease management. With the approval of seladelpar and elafibranor, clinicians now have more tools to not only lower alkaline phosphatase (ALP) levels but also to improve cholestatic pruritus, a debilitating symptom that has long remained difficult to manage. Our experts share insights on how these new therapies are addressing both biochemical and symptomatic aspects of PBC, creating a more comprehensive approach to patient care.
