Carl and Richard talk to Chris Jackson of Microsoft about all the tricks and techniques he uses to make applications compatible from one version of Windows to another, or one version of Internet Explorer to another. Chris digs into the mistakes that developers make, such as checking what version of an operating system or browser a user has. He also points out the cool tools built into Windows to lie to applications to overcome these problems. The conversation also digs into moving your application to Windows 8 and Internet Explorer 10.
