The Detroit Red Wings need help scoring, but we all know that Moritz Seider, Simon Edvinsson, and the Red Wings blue line desperately needs help defending as well.

Tune in as we discuss some key candidates for Steve Yzerman to target in free agency or trade to help Detroit's defense alongside Seider, Edvinsson, Johansson, Chiarot & Co., including the Los Angeles Kings' Vladislav Gavrikov and the Buffalo Sabres' Bowen Byram - are they worth targeting over a Mitch Marner, Sam Bennett, or other forwards to help Dylan Larkin, Lucas Raymond, Alex DeBrincat, & the rest of Hockeytown's offense? What would they cost and how does the rising salary cap benefit Steve Yzerman and the Red Wings? (5:05)

After that, an update on Marco Kasper, Lucas Raymond, Michael Brandsegg-Nygard, and the rest of the Detroit Red Wings at the IIHF World Championships (36:05) before jumping into NHL news, including a breakdown of the Leafs imploding as usual against Brad Marchand and the Panthers, thoughts on Matthews, Marner, Knies, and Tavares, as well as Stanley Cup Playoffs Conference Finals predictions as McDavid and the Oilers take on Rantanen and the Stars in the West, and Bobrovsky and the Panthers take on Svechnikov and the Hurricanes in the East (40:15).
