Renewed Focus Needed at Star-Studded Paris Saint-Germain

Paris Saint-Germain claimed its tenth Ligue 1 title in club history, but for supporters, this supposed dream season has been a nightmare.

On the latest PSG Talking podcast, Ty Taylor hosts and he's joined by French football expert, PSG fan, and CBS Sports Golazo correspondent, Jonathan Johnson, to discuss PSG's season, the unbalanced squad made worse by big-name signings, potential replacements for Mauricio Pochettino, and so much more!

Up first, Ty and Jonathan discuss PSG's historic French league victory, in which they tied AS Saint-Étienne for the most ever. Is the title something worth celebrating or has the failure in the UEFA Champions League overshadowed the accomplishment?

Next, the duo breaks down PSG's unbalanced squad in which even the signing of Lionel Messi is questioned. Compared to an overdecorated Christmas tree by Jonathan, how could Mauricio Pochettino fail to put out an entertaining product on the pitch with so many stars at his disposal?

Speaking of Pochettino, it's almost certain that he will be dismissed after the season and Ty asks Jonathan who could realistically replace him. One player who will certainly be watching the managerial situation is Kylian Mbappé, who only has a month left on his contract and has yet to officially announce whether he'll sign an extension and remain in Paris, or leave for Real Madrid.
