Episode #12- Paul Harnett Ski Boot Marathon World Record Holder

Episode #12- Paul Harnett Ski Boot Marathon World Record Holder

Paul Harnett recently toed the line at the London Marathon...IN SKI BOOTS! Paul crushed the existing ski boot marathon world record by over 20 minutes finishing in a time of 5:30:27.

When he is not breaking world records, Paul spends his time working as a surgeon in London, England. He is a hip fracture specialist and often sees patients who have hip damage from running. The irony of this is not lost on Paul- running 42.2km in ski boots significantly increases your chance of sustaining an injury but Paul is someone who throws caution to the wind and just gets the shit done!

Paul has so far raised 7,000 British pounds for the British Paralympic Association and if you had a good chuckle at how fun this story is or were simply inspired by his tenacity consider making a contribution at https://www.skibootmarathon.com/.
