Student Sues Her School Over Milk: "I Believe This Is Wrong"

A teen in Los Angeles is suing her school, her principal, and the USDA because she's being muzzled over milk!

School officials told Marielle Williamson that she could only talk about nondairy alternatives at her high school if she also promoted cow's milk as well. She says that's unfair because dairy is already heavily advertised in schools while major barriers limit access to things such as almond, oat, or soy milk even though the majority of students in her school are lactose intolerant.

Studies show that up to 80% of people of Hispanic decent are lactose intolerant and roughly 75% of students who attend public school in LA are Hispanic.

Marielle says her freedom of speech is being trampled along with the health of her classmates.

She and attorney Deborah Press join The Exam Room Podcast to sit down with "The Weight Loss Champion" Chuck Carroll to discuss the extraordinary case.
