Microdosing for Healing: Reconnecting with Your Body's Innate Wisdom #144

Microdosing for Healing: Reconnecting with Your Body's Innate Wisdom #144

Today I sit down with Kayse Garrett, the visionary founder of Microdosing for Healing, a global movement dedicated to exploring emotional and spiritual transformation through intentional microdosing.

Kayse, a healing arts practitioner with nearly 30 years of experience, shares her incredible personal journey of overcoming a lifelong seizure disorder. She reveals how she healed at the root level by working with psychedelic earth medicines, specifically mushrooms, in sub-perceptual doses.

In this powerful conversation, you'll learn:

01:36 Kayse shares how she transitioned from pre-med studies to the healing arts and discovered microdosing, which led to the unexpected and profound healing of her seizure disorder.

04:11 Kayse explains what microdosing is, defining it as taking small, sub-perceptual doses of psychedelic medicine like mushrooms without feeling altered or "trippy."

07:11 The safety of mushroom microdosing, non-addictive and non-toxic and the "side effect" of enhanced emotional awareness as a pathway to healing.

09:22 The common misconceptions about microdosing and reframing it from a "drug" to a "relational medicine" that can make you feel more grounded and centred.

11:27 The personal healing process, how microdosing resets the nervous system leading to the complete cessation of seizures.

14:26 The concept of innate healing potential within everyone and how microdosing can help heal not just individuals but also the collective by creating a more healed society.

16:55 Kayse shares what qualities she looks for in aspiring microdosing guides, emphasizing the importance of a personal relationship with the medicine and a diverse life experience.

19:26 Practical advice for those new to the concept, seek education and connect with supportive communities, rather than just relying on online information.

21:13 Reflecting on her own healing journey, Kayse shares the process of "undoing" and receiving rather than hard work and hustling.
