She got assaulted her freshman year in high school by 8 of her female schoolmates because of the color of her skin, which landed her in the hospital for multiple severe injuries. She walks us through her story of how she stumbled at first but then used her discomfort to educate herself on how to properly defend herself and now she has a self-defense gym in Studio City called Team Bully Buster for women and children where they teach Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai moves for real life situations.
