In the second segment Dr. Michelle Mauermann and Dr. Chris White interview Dr. Thomas Bird about his paper on hereditary axonal neuropathies. The podcast concludes with Dr. Ted Burns interviewing Dr. Peter Dyck about two 1968 landmark publications that led to the commonly-used classification scheme for inherited neuropathies. The participants had nothing to disclose except for Dr. Thomas Bird. Dr. Thomas Bird receives Licensing Fees from Athena Diagnostics Inc and one of the co-authors of the paper, Dr. William Seltzer, is employed as Laboratory Director of Athena Diagnostics.)
