EP93: Rhythms of Renewal with Rebekah Lyons

EP93: Rhythms of Renewal with Rebekah Lyons

This week, I speak with author and national speaker, Rebekah Lyons. An old soul with a contemporary, honest voice, Rebekah reveals her own battles to overcome anxiety and depression—and invites others to discover and boldly pursue their purpose. Her work has been featured on Good Morning America, CNN, Huffington Post, The Tennessean, Publisher’s Weekly, and more. Today, she is here to speak about her most recent book, Rhythms of Renewal. We discuss the importance of rest, stepping away from technology, and creating rhythms in our day-to-day which ultimately help to renew our body and soul.

We discuss:

  • The importance of regular rest and rhythms
  • Anxiety + stress: Is there an end in sight?
  • Practical steps/changes one could make to start to overcome stress & anxiety

One of the best ways to support the podcast is to leave a rating and review in iTunes. It helps the show develop a wider audience, enabling me to bring you quality content and creators. Another way to support the show is to support the sponsors. I choose sponsors carefully and try to be as intentional as possible when it comes to what will be most realistic in a minimalist pursuit. I believe in the companies I choose to work with so check them out to see if their product would be something that fits into your lifestyle. As I continue to work with more sponsors know that they help make the Minimalist Moms Podcast possible. Lastly, if you haven’t shared the podcast with a friend - I would love that!
