Episode 43 - Bryson DeChambeau showed the kind of determination and brilliant golf that captains want to see in the immediate weeks before the Ryder Cup, at The Northern Trust last week. He demolished a top-notch field and stamped his ticket to Le Golf National. Tony Finau was in his slipstream and Team USA looks pretty-much set, although there are now doubts over the fitness of Rickie Fowler. Other pretenders for Jim Furyk's squad will need to show their hand this week at TPC Boston. The same goes for Team Europe, where short-price favourites Thorbjorn Olesen and Thomas Pieters have failed to seal their places across the last 2 weeks. Olesen still holds the final automatic spot, as the European Tour visits the Made in Denmark this week, which is the last qualifying event. Matthew Fitzpatrick and Eddie Pepperell can still take the spot, with Rafa Cabrera-Bello, Paul Casey and Henrik Stenson playing in Boston, now waiting on a pick from Bjorn. Sergio remains in hiding!
