In what's being called one of the greatest comebacks in political history, Donald Trump, the twice impeached 45th President of the United States has won another four years as the 47th. The former President won a convincing victory and today there's speculation over who will play what kind of role in the Trump administration. And once again -- the pollsters got it wrong. Kamala Harris got a boost a few days before the election when one poll found Trump trailing in Iowa. The former President handily 'won' that state. Other polls said the race was too close to call. Trump won by more than four and a half million votes. So, what happened? Plus, with his return to the White House assured, how many of Donald Trump's campaign utterances will come to pass? He vowed retribution against those he perceives did him wrong. He's promised pardons for those convicted in connection with January 6th and then there are his 'own' legal cases. And while it was a happy night for Trump supporters, it was the opposite for Kamala Harris' supporters. Americans react to the results. This time tomorrow Americans will be at the polls, although a record setting 75 million have already cast their ballots. The final surveys show the race is a dead heat-- too close to call. But one thing’s for sure, in the final hours, both the former President and the current Vice President are trying to win over each undecided voter. And, feel a little on edge about what's next after the elections? 73% of Americans do, according to the American Psychiatric Association. No matter what the outcome is, there are worries about the aftermath. In fact, businesses in Washington, D.C. and other cities are boarding up windows just in case. Plus, his running mate famously talked about childless cat ladies, now Donald Trump’s boyhood home has been taken over by stray cats. And the anger continues over the untimely demise of Peanut the squirrel, who achieved fame on social media. There's big reaction today to the Los Angeles Dodgers winning their eighth World Series title and nowhere is the excitement bigger than in their hometown. As fireworks exploded in the sky, thousands of fans spilled into the streets, but the LAPD says some crossed the line. A bus was set on fire, shops were being looted, and fireworks thrown at cops. And while there were celebrations in LA, the mood was very different across the country where there were tears as well as anger over the Yankees crushing loss. You've heard the expression ‘there's no crying in baseball’? Well, try telling that today to a Yankees fan. Plus, Donald Trump arrives to his rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin in a garbage truck -- trolling President Biden after his gaffe, calling Trump supporters garbage. Is it political genius? Or just a cringe inducing stunt? And if you are stressed out about the election you are definitely not alone. The Yankees finally figured out how to score some runs last night with a win that denies the Dodgers a chance to take the World Series in a clean sweep. It's now Dodgers: three, Yankees: one. But while the Bronx Bombers will play on, two Yankees fans won't be around to see it. They were ejected from the stands for trying to pull a ball out of a player's glove. As Steven Fabian reports, they were so aggressive some are describing it as a mugging. And it's arguably the most consequential presidential election in a generation -- and the two candidates are bickering about crowd size. As he has during the campaign, Donald Trump has been boasting that he filled Madison Square Garden. Now Kamala Harris' team says her rally in Washington, D.C. last night drew 75,000. Plus, a cop is in hot pursuit of a car going over 100 miles an hour on a highway, but when she pulls the driver over, it wasn't at all what she was expecting. The man behind the wheel was speeding because he was trying to get his fiancé, who was in labor, to the hospital. And have you been to a haunted house yet? This time of year, they are everywhere and can be really scary. But as Alison Hall reports, some patrons think there is one haunted house that goes too far. It may be a sign of just how damaging that Trump rally at Madison Square Garden really was. Melania Trump, who has steadfastly remained on the sidelines during her husband's entire political campaign today, was on Fox News declaring he's not Hitler. And when all those iconic angels returned to the runway for the recent Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, one model was conspicuously missing: Gisele Bundchen. Was the fact she's now pregnant the reason she passed on the show? Plus, it’s now been a year and a half since a subway rider tried to subdue a person he says was harassing other passengers. He put him in a chokehold and the man died. Today that subway rider is on trial for manslaughter in a case that has become incredibly charged politically. Penny’s lawyer says his client was trying to protect other passengers and never intended for the man to die. And on paper, he seemed like the perfect match. A successful cardiologist on a dating app looking to meet someone nice. But women who went out with him say he was a monster who spiked their drinks and then brutally sexually assaulted them. Now he's been sentenced to more than 150 years in prison. His attorney says he will appeal. It was billed by the Trump campaign as a "showcase" of the Trump movement, but critics say last night's rally at Madison Square Garden was a race-baiting celebration of hate. The level of vitriol from the stage was such that even some of Trump's closest confidantes are doing damage control. And, they say good fences make good neighbors, but not always. Jim Moret reports on a couple of situations in which scary neighbors inflicted real damage, including gunfire. Plus, it was one of the most touching moments yet in the world series-- Dodgers slugger Freddie Freeman celebrating his historic grand slam home run by running to the stands to share the moment with his father. Now as the series moves to New York, Mr. Freeman has traveled across the country to again cheer on his son. And it was as one year ago today that Friends star Matthew Perry was found unresponsive in his hot tub. And on this somber anniversary his family is speaking out for the first time saying the pain never goes away.
