At UFC 246, Conor McGregor and Donald Cerrone fought in the main event with the Irish former champion easily winning in the first round, stopping Cerrone within minutes with strikes. In the co-main event, Holly Holm and Raquel Pennington fought to an uninteresting but clear cut decision win for Holm.
