The next stop on our Mysterious PNW Holiday Road trip, we head to the former town of Wineville, CA, now Mira Lima and the shocking crimes of Gordon Northcott & the infamous Chicken Coop Murders. Gordon Northcott was found guilty of the murders of 3 young boys in 1930 and was executed the same year. Mysterious PNW Road trip stop # Hollywood, FL & The murder of Adam Walsh Adam Walsh was a 6 year old boy who was abducted from a shopping mall in Hollywood, Florida, in July 1981. His disappearance sparked a massive search, but his severed head was found two weeks later in a nearby canal. The case remained unsolved for years until serial killer Ottis Toole confessed to the murder, although his confession was later recanted. Toole was never convicted for Adam's murder.
