Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 4, episode 12, "A New Man": -Synopsis -Initial reactions -Happy birthday, Buffy! -This could have been the worst birthday ever. -Walsh vs. Giles: Does Buffy actually lack a father-figure, or was Walsh just hitting below the belt? -Giles may not have handled this confrontation very well. -The Giles/Buffy dynamic: Do we feel badly for Giles this episode? -Does Walsh have ulterior motives for wanting Buffy in her ranks? -Riley has killed 17 demons/vampires.
