Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 4, episode 4, "Fear, Itself": -Fear is coming to life! -Buffy is afraid of being alone, Willow is afraid of losing control of her magic, Xander is ignored, and Oz cannot control his transformation -This episode once again reminds us of the "Wish" universe -Buffy is really good at hiding subtle clues throughout the series for us to pick up on -FEAR... is not so scary -The house is from AHS: Murder House and the Black Power Ranger summons FEAR! -Giles tries to warn Buffy, but like... she has her own agenda (they are the best) -Anya is afraid of bunnies, amazing -The end of the episode felt more sitcom than other episodes and we loved it -Who are these army guys? Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 4, episode 3, "In the Harsh Light of Day": -Let's tally who has actually had sex on this show -What is Parker's deal? Will he be important later or it is just teen love? -Eternal love is reserved for demons and angels with souls -Mitch makes us wish we had a bleeping buzzer on hand! -"Men are evil" -Season 4 taps into some real issues that arise in college for better or worse -Aspect ratio woes -Harmony is back -- how are we feeling about her return? -Do we get a bit more insight into the human-vampire personality shift through Harmony? -Spike is back! And their post-coital cuddling is adorable. -Cordelia and Wesley finally make out and it's totally weird. -Spider-eating is gross. -The council has a cure to the poisoned arrow Faith tagged Angel with, but they aren't sharing. -Did we think Buffy was going to be able to deliver the final blow and kill Faith? -Ariana needs to know what Natalie thinks about Buffy's sorting and has a lot of thoughts about Buffy's motivations in killing Faith. -Angel feeds on Buffy: Was it vamp instinct? Or did he simply give in to Buffy's need to save them? -The Mayor is a total conundrum. He truly cared about Faith in one way or another. -The slayers have a meeting of the minds. Quite literally. -What will happen when Faith wakes up from her coma? -The scene with the Scoobies is awful. Be nice to Angel guys. Come on. -Natalie clues us in to that randomness that Faith spouted about Little Miss Muffet. -Why isn't Xander's military know-how used more often? That is a huge contribution from him that they sometimes seem to forget about. -Thanks Buffy for giving us a true purpose for graduation robes.
