Veronica Mars 1x19 "Hot Dogs" -This mystery of the week was really irrelevant. -We liked that Veronica told Mandy to stick up for herself if she wanted respect. -The will from Logan's mom was a big catalyst for a lot of drama in his life. -Why does Logan stick around for all of these years with his father beating him? -Did Trina's boyfriend deserve to get beaten up so badly by Aaron? -The music playing during the beating scene reminded us of Italian gangster movies like The Godfather. -We'll miss Leo, but that just means that we'll see more of Logan! -Did Lilly really love Logan or Weevil? -We need to know what was in Weevil's pen from Lilly. -Did Celeste reveal that Veronica is the offspring of Mr. Kane? Veronica Mars 1x20 "M.A.D." -Duncan's coming across as more street smart than we understood him to be. -Dick and Cassidy are brothers??? -Aaron was surprisingly cool with the LoVe ship. -We come up with a Vegan ship. -How in the world did Tad and Carmen get together in the first place? -We're happy Carmen didn't stoop to his level to post the scandalous website. -Logan did what?! Logan didn't choose this celebrity life! -Do we think that Lynne is dead? -Mitch makes a Twilight and Final Destination reference. -Stick to the status quo! Episode 1x14, "Mars v. Mars" -There were Parks and Rec. and Gossip Girl cameos in this episode! -The sloth video. -Mr. Rooks "had it comin'. He only had himself to blame." -Mitch notices that the journalism teacher isn't in the recent episodes, to which the super fans give a nice explanation. -Was Veronica too quick to judge Carrie? -Veronica has cahones for confronting Carrie in the bathroom flashback. -The spy v. spy theme wasn't too prominent. -Why didn't the best friend tell on the teacher? -Where do we see Leo and Veronica going? -Veronica should've known better than to show Logan the video of his mother supposedly jumping. -Logan and Veronica are Arnold and Helga from Hey, Arnold! -Ariana TOTALLY comes up with Lilly's murderer... -It was a little bit too convenient that Able and Duncan both went to the same exact doctor. -How did Veronica get the blue ink off of her face so quickly? -Veronica went from 0 to 60 really fast when it came to P.I. business. We continue our recaps of Veronica Mars in this episode, where we cover 1×11 “Silence of the Lamb” and 1×12 “Clash of the Tritons.” Episode 1x11: "Silence of the Lamb" -Mitch accidentally discovers a New Girl guest star. -Aaron Paul guest starred as Eddie the Worm. What a phallic name. -Pappa Mars was such a great cop, and made Sheriff Lamb look like a jerk. -Veronica's revenge on Clarence Wiedman was a bit disturbing, even though that was her way of taking "an eye for an eye." -Mac is back! But wow, this episode started to feel disjointed at this point. -Madison's party showed the complete opposite values of the switched at birth families. -The reference to The Silence of the Lambs was brilliant. Episode 1x12: "Clash of the Tritons" -It was sad to see Lynne give in to Aaron's tyranny. Her suicide will impact Logan similarly to Lilly's murder. -Duncan's reveal that he blacked out for three days during Lilly's death threw our whodunnit theories all over the place. -Was Lilly privy to Duncan and Veronica being siblings, and did that lead to her death? -What pushed Lilly to feel so strongly against Weevil? -Those guidance counselor moments were character building GOLD. -There was a deep connection between Rick and his revenge on Keith via Veronica. -The frat boys of the Tritons gifted us a fabulous Veronica karaoke song. -Duncan's mysterious illness will have to be discovered by Veronica eventually. -Why wasn't Logan involved in this frat story? -Mitch wanted there to be a Romeo and Juliet story between Rick and his coma friend. -We deeply brOTP Logan/Weevil. -Listener feedback covers switched episode order, more about the unsatisfying Casey ending, and a real life married couple that play husband and wife on the show. Episode 1×10: "An Echolls Family Christmas” -Has our perception of Aaron Echolls changed? -Does Mrs. Echolls know about the affairs? -Is she staying with her husband for the sake of her son or for selfish reasons? -Are Weevil and Logan friends? -Drunk Duncan! -We like the actor dude…for more than superficial reasons. -We don’t, however, like the butler’s son. -Who did we think stole the money? Who didn’t we suspect? -We found out who is actually behind the photos of Veronica. -Is Veronica too clever? Was the Book Week sign being up in the photo too convenient? -Weevil and Logan are our BrOTP. -We miss Gabrielle. -Aaaaand we get really gangster for a second there. Sorry. -Let’s not forget that the death of Lilly is still quite fresh in Veronica’s mind. (And Logan's!) -Another Pretty Little Liars connection! -When Veronica makes mistakes, we are reminded that she’s just a 17 year old girl in high school. -Caitlin compares Veronica Mars to Supernatural season 6.
