The Reds overcame a half time deficit to dominate after the break and Alexis Mac Allister's equaliser was the least Liverpool deserved for a brilliant second half display. Klopp's mentality monsters were on the brink of dropping two points and perhaps ending the weekend in third spot, but up popped returning substitute Darwin Nunez to win it and spark manic celebrations in the away end. What a day! The Reds secured a tenth League Cup with a dramatic extra time win over Chelsea at Wembley to keep us on course for a glorious end to the Jurgen Klopp era. A true captain's goal from Virg averted the drama of a shoot out, following another topsy turvy final in which fortune favoured the brave. However, it was the Reds Academy graduates rising to the occasion against the billion dolla blues that will live long in the memory. Luton Town were caught in a second half whirlwind as the Reds overcame a half time deficit to blow away the plucky Hatters. Goals from Van Dijk, Gakpo, Diaz and Elliott completed a terrific turnaround that Jurgen Klopp compared to *checks notes* erm, the win over Barcelona. A big win that looks to have come at something of a cost. The Reds made a tricky fixture look easy but lost three players to injury and at least one of them looks to be very serious, but Salah was back with a goal and we're still top of the league.
