Healing Medical Trauma | Trauma Healing Podcast
In this episode, I wanted to talk about medical trauma and its impact on treating and caring for our bodies. Today, I want to talk to you about this recovery I'm going through. So you've been following me online, you probably are aware that I have had surgery, it is now in the midst of recovery, and I'm feeling better, I'm feeling mobile, which is nice. You'll notice this episode sounds different I'm using my earbuds. I'm walking back and forth in my living room because the doctor said, you need to walk back and forth in your living room. When I think about medical trauma, I don't necessarily only think about you went to the doctor; you had a bad experience with Dr., which of course counts so, let's not misconstrue that. I think about how we even care for ourselves when it comes to our Medical Care with our body, our health, our mind, and how we have learned behavior around past experiences. Today, just listen, and I will talk about healing medical trauma. -Be Unbroken. 200 Episodes Be Relentlessly Committed to your Dreams | Trauma Healing Podcast
In this episode, we are now 202 episodes! I am so excited about that; I literally could not be happier about getting to tell you that we have released two hundred episodes now. When I started this show a few years ago, my number one goal is I want to empower people, I want to give people the tools that I've discovered over the years that have helped me by bringing experts who can also help give us tools, and I'm always learning because I promise you, I don't know everything and it's an honor to be able to do this, it's a beautiful way to serve this community and it's a beautiful way to give back. And I'm always on the road, I'm always going to conferences, speaking out of events, learning, and coaching; being coached. We have the opportunity in our life to be of service; we all do. I've decided to be of service and create Think Unbroken and do the podcast and lead in this way because I know one thing to be true, we all have the ability to be the hero of our own story. Today is more of a celebration episode. So I'm not going to go into coaching or teaching today it's more of just an episode of gratitude to say thank you to every one of you, who leave the reviews, who share the post in the stories back to your story, thank you for all the people who show up, and they listen to every episode. I know who you are because you reach out to me, and it's meaningful, and I thank you for that! John Miles - How to Find your Passion after Rock Bottom | CPTSD and Trauma Healing Coach
In this episode, I sit and have a conversation with John R. Miles, who leads a global movement called Passion Struck. He is passionate about being the catalyst who helps individuals expand into the greatest version of themselves, unlocking the most passion-driven life possible. We talk about this idea of how you transform your life even if you think your life is at the top and recognize if you're not honoring your own journey, your fulfillment, and that thing that calls you what you need to do to create massive change in your life. I appreciated this conversation because it was looking at a retrospective of my life, thinking about all the decisions I've had to make to get to where I am today. And I want you to think about this as you head into this conversation. Where are you at in your life today? What do you want? What do you feel passionate about? What are you drawn to? What is your gut in your heart telling you you should be doing with your time, effort, and energy? So as I have this conversation with John, it's fascinating because he's an exciting guy and you'll you would never guess that he's going to say some of the things that he is going to say and after getting to know him over the last few months, I'm really fascinated by the way he thinks about the world. Listen and join us today because you're going to get a tremendous amount of value from this episode. I'm very excited to share it with you. Deal With It | CPTSD and Trauma Healing Podcast
In this episode, I think about this concept of how you do anything is how you do everything and being in this place of my life where I'm like – I'm not dealing with that thing that I know is going to make me feel better. The hard decision we make today is that little piece within us that sits in us that says; I need to do this, this concept about what keeps you awake at night. When you apply that to the places in your life right now where you're not showing up? You know, it sucks, the thing you have to do sucks; it's not fun. No part of you wants to do it, but can you deal with it and do it anyway; that whole thing, no excuses, just results. Can you show up for yourself in all areas of your life? What are you not dealing with today? What pain do you need to get through to feel better on the other side? Nate Bailey - The Power of Vulnerability Integrity and Sacrifice | Trauma Healing Coach
In this episode, I have an amazing conversation with my great friend Nate Bailey. Nate is just a phenomenal human being who has transformed his life and a lot of people and helped them and how to be vulnerable, show up for themselves, lead their life, and ultimately be able to stand in confidence with them who they are. One of the things that I love about being able to do Think Unbroken is having conversations like this because even from me, they impact me like Nate's words made me just sit there and go, damn, Am I really being as vulnerable as I could be? Am I really being the leader that I could be? Nate is the founder of 5 Day Unleash The Leader Within Challenge & Championship Leadership 24 Hr experience, host of the top rated "Championship Leadership Podcast", author of "100 Mile Mindset, Discover The Power Of Being Your Word" and a seasoned entrepreneur. Nate created the "Strong Men Mastermind", as part of what he considers his life's calling to create a place where other men can compete with each other, bond, and show up much differently in a time where we need nothing more than Strong Men as leaders in our home, businesses and communities. He works with former athletes and military men to guide them to the life they have always desired without having to experience many of the pitfalls that he did himself along the way. When was the last time that you were vulnerable? When's the last time you operated through a scope of integrity that allowed you to surpass the possibility in your life? Also, before we head into the show, I wanted to share with you. If you go to thinkunbrokenpodcast.com, there is a little microphone at the bottom of the screen; if you click that, you can leave a voice note, and one of the things that I want to do is start using your questions and your comments as commentary in the show. So Unbroken Nation, I'm very excited to get in today's episode! Let's get into the show!
