POSTPARTUM DEPRESSION GIRLFRIEND ATTACKS & STABBED BOYFRIEND | BODY CAM CRIME SCENE

On February 18, 2023, a shocking body cam crime scene unfolded at 514 Jefferson Street in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, captured in raw police body cam video. Morgan Taylor Lund, a 21-year-old ex-girlfriend, launched a brutal girlfriend attacks spree, stabbing her former boyfriend—the father of her 11-month-old daughter—19 times with a pair of scissors. This true crime body cam moment reveals a chilling domestic attack, as the victim lay sleeping on their shared apartment’s couch, a space he’d claimed after their breakup just weeks earlier. The body cam stabbing footage, later released by the Oshkosh Police Department, shows officers arriving to a blood-soaked living room, Morgan drenched in red, and the victim fighting for his life.

What drove this murder attempt footage? Morgan’s story takes a dark turn into killer mental issues. She claimed to police, in a raw interrogation preserved on video, that she saw a “dark, ominous figure” attacking her ex—a hallucination she’d been battling for months. Was this a mental breakdown caught on tape or a calculated lie? Her brother, Ethan, hinted at postpartum depression, noting her emotional instability since her daughter’s birth, a detail that adds layers to this domestic violence saga. The body cam investigation footage shows officers piecing together the chaos, from the blood-splattered walls to the scissors lying near the couch—evidence of a frenzied attack.

The stabbed boyfriend survived, wrestling the weapon from Morgan and shouting for help as her brother dialed 911. Body cam arrest footage captures Morgan’s detainment, her hands cuffed as she’s led away, still claiming she didn’t mean to harm him. In the interrogation room, featured in interrogation videos, Morgan’s story unravels. She initially agreed to talk during interrogations and confessions but clammed up after consulting her father, leaving detectives with only snippets of her bizarre explanation. These interrogation files, paired with crazy dash cam footage from responding squads, paint a haunting picture of a relationship gone deadly.

This wasn’t a random act. Text messages from the victim’s phone, analyzed in the body cam investigation, reveal a history of domestic violence—Morgan’s jealousy and prior physical altercations simmering beneath the surface. Yet, no argument sparked that night; Morgan’s phone showed TikTok scrolling until 1:43 AM, then silence until the attack at 7:56 AM. Was it postpartum depression pushing her over the edge, or something darker? The interrogation files leave us questioning her intent as she faced charges of attempted murder and reckless injury.
