125. Chris Pan - MyIntent Founder Finds Intention Through Chaos

This week we have a good friend of the DEN on the podcast, Chris Pan! Chris is a Harvard grad who began consulting for Fortune 100 CEO’s, then found himself working at Facebook, taught Mark Zuckerberg mandarin and retired at 35. After a traumatic breakup, Chris started a deep dive into inner work and is now the Founder and CEO of MyIntent, a company whose mission is to be a catalyst for meaningful conversations by helping people find their WORD. MyIntent has served everyone from Jay-Z, Beyonce, Rihanna, Melania Trump, Elon Musk, Justin Bieber and has been featured on the cover of Time magazine and a 4 minute segment on the Today Show. We waste no time getting right into a deep conversation about how COVID-19 has applied pressure to our lives, but if you allow it, Chris believes this pressure can help align you with your purpose. We then get into how Mother Nature is giving us a timeout - pulling away distractions and helping us as a society see what is unhealthy and giving us the space to address it, the BLM movement and the incredible things Chris and MyIntent are doing to make healing and inner work accessible to black communities, how Chris uses plant medicine for healing, ways that Chris “takes out the garbage” and gets rid of negativity in his life, finding faith in times of uncertainty, and the depths of the human spirit. You will also get to learn about Chris’s childhood and how moving to Ohio when he was 7 years old speaking no English and being the only asian kid in his class would shape him and the way he works for the rest of his life.
