141. Sah D’Simone - How to Embody Your True Self

This week we are so excited to welcome Sah D’Simone to DENtalks podcast for an in-depth conversation on embracing our authentic selves. Sah is a spiritual guide, meditation teacher, transformational speaker and the international best-selling author of Spiritually Sassy: 8 Radical Steps to Activate Your Innate Superpowers. In this episode, we really get into why it’s important to find a spiritual path with both the heart and mind so that we are able to help others and cultivate compassion. If you or someone you know struggles with maintaining a positive mindset, or with the feeling of being ‘too much’ or ‘not enough,’ then you’re going to get a lot out of this episode! Sah talks to us about his own path to spirituality, and how growing up he felt the need to stifle himself and act a certain way to be accepted by his community. It wasn’t until he started to change his mindset and transform that belief that he was able to cultivate a sense of belonging in himself and then work to create that space for others as well. We’ll talk about why it’s so easy to get caught in negative thought patterns and why critical thinking can sometimes be counterproductive if it’s not orienting the mind towards the direction of the heart. We found Sah’s wisdom and guidance to be so helpful while navigating tumultuous times, and we hope you do too!
