Disrupting for Good: From Personal Transformation to Circular Economics

In this episode of the Meridian Point podcast, we spoke with Stacey Nye, who leads two groundbreaking initiatives. First, she discussed the F.I.X. Code, an innovative emotional healing technique that aims to quickly disconnect people from past trauma without extensive talk therapy. Stacey shared how she discovered this technique during her own journey of personal transformation and now helps others achieve emotional freedom through brief 15-minute sessions.

We then explored her work implementing sustainable diaper solutions in Samoa. Working with her sister's company, Stacey is helping to prove the viability of a circular economy model where compostable diapers turn into usable soil within 8-12 weeks.

The project not only addresses environmental concerns but also creates employment opportunities for local women and serves as a model for potential global expansion. The conversation revealed how disruption - whether personal or professional - can lead to meaningful innovation.

Stacey's journey from Olympic Games operations to these current ventures demonstrates how embracing change and challenge can result in solutions that benefit both individuals and communities globally. Through the lightning round questions, we learned about her transformative experiences in Toronto, Australia, and Samoa - each location teaching different lessons about resilience, healing, and rediscovering passion.

The interview concluded with Stacey's key to successful innovation: "Do it anyway" - pushing forward despite obstacles or doubts. The episode provides insights into how combining different skills and experiences can lead to innovative solutions that address both personal and global challenges.
