S2 Ep6: Secret Hookups & Awkward Adult Film Rentals- S2E6-Imagine Me & You

🎙️ But I’m a Lesbian
Two lesbians. Two mics. Endless hot takes.

This week, we’re talking about the 2005 rom-com Imagine Me & You. From the flower shop/straight wedding “meet-cute” to the slow realization that something feels different, this movie has become a longtime favorite for a lot of queer viewers. We chat about the awkward moments, the quiet tension, and the choices the characters have to make when love shows up in unexpected ways.
We get into what still works, what feels a little dated, and why this story keeps finding new fans years later. Whether it’s your first time watching or a comfort rewatch, Imagine Me & You is one of those films that keeps inviting conversation, and we’re happy to have it.
We also dive into our own thoughts on love at first sight, and answer some “Dear Dykes” submissions!

📲 New episodes weekly. See you next Tuesday! Next week, we are still in our early 2000s WLW era! We will be recapping I Can't Think Straight! This movie is available on Tubi!

But I’m a Lesbian is hosted and produced by Katlynn Beatty and Angelina Herrera. Production and Mixing by Victoria Shifflett. Creative direction and video editing provided by Juanita Iriarte. Music by Stiletto Falsetto.
