Ep 374- Singing Superstar Jamie Fine, My New Best Friend, Has a New Single You Need To Hear!

"LIKE I DO" is the first single release from JAMIE FINE's anticipated project. The project will be released early in 2025. "LIKE I DO" was written by Jamie Fine, Jordan Lutes, Keith Sorrells and Oscar Linnander and produced by Keith Sorrells and Oscar Linnander. In “LIKE I DO,” the Ottawa-born singer-songwriter celebrates her unique quirks, offering listeners a heartfelt glimpse into the complexities of love and self-acceptance. Fine acknowledges that she can be a handful to love but trusts that, beneath it all, her big heart shines through. Right from the opening line, she pulls us in with an honest admission about her ADHD, sharing the unique challenges it brings to relationships—from dominating conversations to needing reassurance. She knows it’s a lot to handle, but her promise remains steadfast: “No one will love you like I do.” Since going solo in 2020, Fine has cemented her place as a cultural force, with her 2022, EP "eight gardengate" showcasing her big-hearted, self-reflective nature. She’s been nominated for four JUNO Awards, with her music streamed over 100 million times worldwide by nearly 1.5 million fans who love her authenticity. In 2025, Fine will be back on stage, bringing her music to fans in person. With guitarist Matthieu St. Jules and drummer Darius Martin joining her, she’ll play key dates across the United States and Canada, with additional shows planned for South Africa in April and May, where “If Anything’s Left” became an unexpected double-platinum success. Tour dates announced so far include: February 22 – Ottawa, ON February 27 – Toronto, ON February 28 – Montreal, QC March 6 - Halifax, Canada March 7 - Moncton, Canada March 8 - Charlottetown, Canada April 19 – Durban, South Africa April 25 - Ekurhuleni, South Africa April 26 - Johannesburg, South Africa April 28 - North West, South Africa May 1 - Port Elizabeth, South Africa May 3 – Cape Town, South Africa Wherever she goes, Jamie Fine’s raw honesty and warmth make her impossible not to root for. She’s perfectly imperfect—and that’s just how we like her. Ottawa-born singer/songwriter Jamie Fine uses her music to inspire audiences to explore emotions we all feel but often struggle to express—ranging from anger and isolation to joy and connection. Her unique ability to convey intense emotion is her superpower. For Jamie, music is deeply personal: “I write music for me—it’s cathartic. It helps me process my experiences.” Releasing music, she admits, feels vulnerable: “The safest place in the world is in my head. Sharing my music is like opening that space to others, aiming to create a safe place for them to explore their own emotions.” Jamie values unfiltered, honest conversations with family, friends, and her audience: “Real connections feed my soul like writing and performing.” Time with loved ones keeps her grounded. A four-time Juno nominee, Jamie’s music has over 100 million global streams. Her hit single If Anything’s Left reached Platinum status in Canada and Double-Platinum in South Africa. With nearly 1.5 million followers worldwide, fans are drawn to her energetic personality, quirky humor, and openness. As her audience grows, Jamie’s goal remains to create inclusive, emotional spaces through her music.
