Elli Stenfors’ Path to HYROX Elite 15 Without a Running Background

In this episode of the Rox Lyfe podcast I’m joined by Elli Stenfors - HYROX Elite 15 athlete, physiotherapist, and coach.

Despite coming from a competitive swimming and CrossFit background - and with no traditional running history - Elli has risen rapidly through the sport. She’s already clocked a 61-minute PB in the Pro division and finished 7th in her Elite 15 debut in Melbourne.

In this conversation, we cover:

• How Elli transitioned from swimming and CrossFit into HYROX at an elite level

• Why she prefers to train and race by feel rather than relying on watches or data

• How she builds running fitness with relatively modest run volume

• Balancing strength work, endurance, and staying injury-free
