Luke: Mary's Song - Luke 1:39-56

We continue in our series in the Book of Luke as we learn more about Mary, a prominent figure in shaping the history of what was to come. Mary is significant in part of Jesus' life from birth, in ministry, and later to his death and resurrection and frankly, we as Christians do not give a lot of credit that she deserves. A noteworthy characteristic in Mary was that she was faithful; her obedience serves as an example for us to follow and she did live this life of faith alone. If anything, she clung to her community that gave her strength and perspective, and through this, we are reminded that we are not meant to walk this life of faith alone. We hope that this example will be something that we can implement in our own house church meetings.
