Solveig has put together a panel consisting of the count of live electronics and sound art adventurer Bern Isak Wærstad, music researcher, multi-instrumentalist and polyglot Tejaswinee Kelkar, and author, artist and researcher in musicology Marek Susdorf. The episode was recorded in front of an audience at Blå - Oslo's most active nightclub and music venue primarily for alternative and club music. The show was part of Musikkfest 2021. More about the guests: Bernt Isak Wærstad is a musician, sound and multi-media artist, programmer and instrument designer holding a MA in Music Technology from Norwegian University for Science and Technology (NTNU). Musically he is working within a wide variety of genres such as electro-acoustic free-improvisation, noise-rock, electronic pop and afro pop. Tejaswinee Kelkar is a singer and a researcher. She finished her PhD with the RITMO center of excellence at University of Oslo in November 2019. Her research interests are melodic cognition, motion-capture and musical-cultural analysis. Marek Susdorf is a Polish writer and artist; a graduate of Slavic Studies at Gdańsk University and RMA Gender Studies at Utrecht University; works as a Research Fellow at the Department of Musicology of Oslo University; his doctoral project concerns the musical-colonial relationship between the Netherlands and Suriname as well as recent employments of posthumanist theories in musicological scholarship.
