The Sun at Zero Aries, an Equinox Rush Conjunct Neptune — What to Watch For

What is it about the threshold of spring that makes the heart want to start something new, even before the mind fully understands what that something is? There are moments in the year when the cosmos itself seems to breathe a fresh kind of air into our lungs, and the Sun’s entrance into Aries—the zero point of the zodiac—is one of them. But this year, that fiery impulse to begin meets something softer, more mysterious. The Sun arrives at the equinox and immediately walks into the arms of Neptune, blending the desire for action with the call of the imaginal. You might feel the urge to move forward, yet find yourself pausing, uncertain whether the old ways of being are the ones you want to carry with you. That pause is not a weakness. It is a necessary kind of dreaming.

In this video, we look at what it means to stand at the inception point of the zodiac while Neptune lingers nearby. The Sun in Aries wants to ignite, to assert, to become. But Neptune asks what you are willing to let dissolve in order for something genuinely new to emerge. Over the next few days, watch for the places where inspiration feels both urgent and nebulous. Notice where visions form without clear instruction. Pay attention to the actions you take not because they are practical, but because they are heartfelt—moves made on behalf of something you love, something you long for, something that feels spiritually necessary. The heroism of this moment is not about charging blindly ahead. It is about acting from the core of what you truly care about, even if the path is not yet fully lit.

Standing at the edge of a new life, only to realize that before you can step forward, something old must first be allowed to dissolve—this is the strange grace of the Sun meeting Neptune at zero Aries. The call to begin again is real. But so is the work of letting go of who you thought you had to be in order to get there.
