The Power of Compassion in the Home

The Power of Compassion in the Home

In this deeply personal episode, I sit down with someone who has been part of my family for the past five years the young woman who came into our home as a nanny but became so much more.

She opens up about her painful childhood experience working in another home at just 9–10 years old, where she faced harsh treatment and difficult circumstances.

In this conversation, we reflect on:

• What it was like for her moving from a painful environment into a different kind of home

• The emotional impact of being treated with kindness and dignity

• Watching my own journey through struggles, victories, faith, and motherhood

• How her faith has grown during the years she lived with us

This episode is a reminder that the way we treat people in our homes matters more than we think. Sometimes the smallest acts of kindness can help heal wounds we didn’t even know someone was carrying.

As she now steps into the next chapter of her life, I remain deeply grateful for the years we shared.

May this conversation remind us to lead our homes with compassion, faith, and humanity.
