CHANGE IN VALUES LEADS TO CHANGE IN PERSPECTIVES
Given that the Gemini New Moon occurred at 24’03 Gemini on June 14 at 7:54 p.m. PT & 10:54 p.m. ET, it brings with it the opportunity to plant seeds related to our ability to communicate with one another--& ourselves.
And, in doing so, what we may have thought was of most value to us back before the May 16 Taurus New Moon monthly lunar cycle—including the Sagittarius Full Moon—may have changed.
And that, in turn, has changed many peoples’ perspectives, particularly about what is of most value in their lives. You know, like food security & affordability, & access to affordable healthcare.
This podcast explores the astrological symbolism that’s moved the collective away from material complacency & old perspectives that we’ll always have enough to be “comfortable.”
And that by the time we experienced the May 31 Sagittarius Full Moon—when the Sadge Moon opposed both the Gemini Sun, Uranus & Ceres—we were asked to release our attachment to a leader’s perspective (Gemini Sun) & to change our perspective about what we value most in life.
This came to head by the time we reached the June 8 third quarter lunar square of the Pisces Moon to the Gemini Sun, where “the people” felt victimized (represented by the Pisces Moon) by a leader who says he “doesn’t care” about Americans’ finances & “loves” inflation (Gemini Sun.)
No surprise then, that as a result of the Venus/Jupiter conjunction in Cancer on June 9 after which billionaire Elon Musk became the world’s first trillionaire, people began to openly ask what they’d been thinking for a while: How much is too much?
Especially when so many billionaires & Musk, the newly minted trillionaire, do little to improve peoples’ lives but choose instead to use their wealth simply to increase their power.
That this holds true not only in America but in places like Albania where Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner & daughter Ivanka “purchased” an island there they plan to develop into a multi-billion dollar resort for the rich.
Tens of thousands have taken to the streets there to objection to the potential rape of this nation’s environmentally protected coastal habitats. And the kicker? Albania’s prime minister supports this development, which suggests perhaps he’s got a stake in the game…
VENUS IN LEO OPPOSITE PLUTO IN AQUARIUS: ARE THE RICH RAPING THE PEOPLE?
All of the astrology of the past few months—in addition to the exposure of more & more corruption within the Trump Administration & his family’s business dealings—bring us to question whether they are raping people not only of their tax dollars but of their legal rights.
That’s how we know that the Gemini New Moon monthly cycle is now asking us to change our perspectives about what it is we value most. In other words, do we value having rich business people run our government, or do we prefer those who have at heart the interests & well-being of those they serve.
Greed & avarice go hand in hand with corruption & selling one’s soul for money & material resources, making those who do so venal. And “venal” is defined by the Cambridge Dictionary as “A …person…willing to behave in a way that is not honest or moral in exchange for money.”
Given this, the upcoming Venus/Pluto opposition on June 17—which highlights the power of money over relationships—has a mythical connotation of rape.
That’s because in Greek mythology Pluto/Hades, the god of the underworld, came above ground (which he only did twice in myth) & kidnapped & raped Persephone, the daughter of Demeter/Ceres, the goddess of the grain.
In doing so, he changed the way the gods of Mount Olympus valued the humans they ruled over. How is that? Well, when Ceres—who held the secret of how the seed fertilizes the crops to grow--went into mourning over the disappearance of her daughter Persephone, humans began to starve.
You see the connection between myth & reality? Only when mankind began to die out did the gods take notice. And the notice they took revolved around their own hubristic need to be revered by humans. You know, the ones who built temples & prayed to them, keeping them in positions of power.
So a bargain was struck where Hades/Pluto—who did at least make Persephone not only his wife but the Queen of the Underworld—allowed her to come above ground for six months out of the year.
This became the Greeks’ way of explaining the seasons that occur in the western northern hemisphere: When Persephone come above ground to be with her mother it’s spring & summer & crops are planted & grow.
And when it’s fall & winter, she goes back to her underworld throne & crops are reaped & stored for the winter, & the ground lie fallow.
Remember that the Sagittarius Full Moon has the Gemini Moon in opposition to the Gemini Sun, Uranus, AND Ceres. Well, the indication was that our values needed to change our perspectives about what’s most important to us all (read: food & bodily healthcare.)
DONALD TRUMP’S SOLAR RETURN SHOWS LOSS OFF POWER IN PARTNERSHIPS
This podcast also takes a detailed look at Trump’s Solar Return chart since he just had his 80th birthday on June 14—the same day of the Gemini New Moon.
What’s of most interest here is best described by the fact that the Virgo South Node lies conjoined to Trump’s solar return chart’s Virgo Ascendant, while the Pisces North Node hits at his solar return’s Pisces Descendant.
That means loss of power in partnerships is a key energy that began several months ago. That’s because a solar return chart’s energies can begin to manifest thematically about three months prior to the actual date of the return.)
Not only that, but this chart’s nodal axis is squared by the Gemini Sun, a sign of ego loss. Given current circumstances, including the most recent U.S.-waged war on Iran & its supposed 60-day ceasefire scheduled to be signed in Geneva on Friday, June 19, it’s hard not to see that ending a war which had no solid strategy for success was foolhardy at best, insane at worst.
