Episode 3: Was 9/11 an Inside Job?

On September 11th, 2001, four commercial aircraft were hijacked and used as weapons. Nearly three thousand people died. The United States government attributed the attacks to al-Qaeda. And within days, an alternative explanation began spreading: that the attacks were an inside job — planned, facilitated, or deliberately allowed by elements of the US government itself.

In this episode of The Conspiracy Theory Analyst, we examine the 9/11 Truth movement — one of the most extensively researched and most passionately debated conspiracy theories of the 21st century. We examine every major claim that has generated sustained public interest across two decades.

We examine the collapse of World Trade Centre Building 7 — a 47-storey skyscraper that fell at near freefall speed at 5:20 in the afternoon on September 11th, having not been struck by any aircraft. The official NIST investigation concluded that fire-induced progressive collapse was the cause — the first such event in the history of steel-frame high-rise construction. Critics, including thousands of architects and engineers who signed the Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth petition, argue that the collapse pattern is inconsistent with fire damage alone.

We examine the Pentagon impact — the claim that the damage was inconsistent with a Boeing 757 strike, the absence of certain debris, and the specific questions raised about what hit the building. We examine the Put Options placed on airline stocks in the days before the attacks, suggesting possible foreknowledge. We examine NORAD's failure to intercept the hijacked aircraft and the specific timeline questions that remain.

We also examine what the 9/11 Commission Report actually concluded and what it has been criticised for omitting, including the specific role of Saudi government officials with documented connections to the hijackers.
