Make care at home the standard of care

Make care at home the standard of care

During the pandemic, many health systems piloted hospital at home and remote patient monitoring programs. As more and more providers and patients have experienced the benefits of receiving advanced care in the comfort of their homes, adoption has continued to grow. And with additional studies demonstrating lower cost and improved outcomes, more healthcare executives are accelerating their efforts to deliver care into the home.

Leaders at academic medical centers are using their experience to evolve and improve their respective care at home programs.

In this new episode of Healthcare Insider, Dr. Tahir Haque, medical director at Biofourmis, and Khurram Mir, senior manager at the University of California Irving Health, discuss how their organizations are leveraging virtual care innovations and share their thoughts on the future of delivering advanced care in the home.
