Meditation Monday: Journaling with Your Emotions

My loves, welcome to a new week and another Meditation Monday on The Kirsty Gallagher Podcast. Each week, I will bring you a short meditation or practice to set you up for the week ahead. You can revisit this practice as many times as you like.

This week we have the Cancer new moon, a moon that invites us to journey deep into our emotions - so this week, we're going to journal with our emotions. Our emotions are messengers. They're signposts, holding powerful insight and wisdom, showing us where we're in alignment in our lives and where we may be out of alignment. That's what we'll use this meditation for: to really listen within and hear what your emotions are wanting to tell you. We'll begin by creating a safe space within you. Then I'll guide you through a series of journaling prompts, giving you around two minutes to write after each one. Try not to think too much about what you're writing. Instead, allow it to become more like automatic writing, where you simply let the words flow. If it helps, try not to lift your pen from the paper once you've started. Just keep writing, allowing whatever wants to come through to come through. And if you need a little longer with any of the prompts, simply pause the meditation and begin again when you feel complete.❤️
