Ep268 - The Haunting of Aston Hall

Deep in the industrial heart of Birmingham, England, stands Aston Hall, a towering, red-brick monument to cruel ambition, ancient wealth, and concentrated malice. Built in the 17th century by Sir Thomas Holte, a fiercely loyal Royalist with a temper like a shotgun, this grand estate was designed to scream power to those who beheld it. Holte survived the devastating cannon fire of the English Civil War and a lifetime of vicious family feuds, only to die with a treasure trove of regrets. Yet, his twisted soul is said to be curiously absent from the estate. Instead, the halls are occupied by the wreckage he left behind: the spirits of those he controlled, neglected, and drove past the edge of sanity. In this episode, we dive into the dark, jagged legacy of the Holte name and the legendary hauntings that keep Aston Hall permanently locked in a supernatural time loop. We track the tragic "Grey Lady," a daughter allegedly imprisoned in the high tower until her mind shattered; Mrs. Walker, the relentless housekeeper who still vanishes into thin air the second you try to kick her ass out of her favorite antique chair; and the grim, heartbreaking apparition of Dick, a falsely accused houseboy swinging silently from the rafters of the servants' quarters.
