Robin Dreeke FBI Interview: Can the Jury Trust Juliana Magalhães? — Reading the Star Witness

She's the prosecution's entire case — and the most compromised witness in the trial.

Juliana Peres Magalhães is the only person alive who was in that Herndon bedroom when Christine Banfield and Joseph Ryan were killed. She's testified in graphic detail about what she says Brendan Banfield did that morning. But she also spent a year lying to protect him. She wrote letters promising to "take the blame for both of us." And now she's negotiating a Netflix deal while media producers pay her jail expenses.

The defense says she's a liar who flipped to save herself. The prosecution says the blood evidence will back her up.

Banfield has pleaded not guilty to four counts of aggravated murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, felony child abuse, and felony child cruelty. If convicted on all counts, he faces life in prison without parole plus 13 additional years. The trial continues in Fairfax County, Virginia.
