In 1925, four pilots landed on a remote mesa near Battle Mountain, Nevada, where they claimed to witness one of the strangest UFO encounters ever recorded - not with a spacecraft, but with what appeared to be a living, breathing creature drifting through the sky. After watching the injured, disc-shaped being struggle to take flight, they allegedly saw a much larger version descend from above, rescue it, and disappear back into the clouds.
