Why Should You Sit There Until You Die

In this message, Pastor Kaloma Smith challenges us to reflect on how feeling stuck may limit our relationship with God and the blessings we share with others. Often, we find ourselves feeling put together on the outside, but feeling stuck on the inside, sacrificing our well-being, our community, and our ultimate purpose by remaining in situations where we understand what is happening to us, but where our circumstances may not be healthy, or may be limiting our lives. Using an illustration from Second Kings, Pastor Kaloma reminds us that in moments like this, we should ground ourselves in God's word, rather than listening to opinions that are uninformed about our individual circumstances. In addition, we must start taking bold steps that rely on our trust in God. In those moments, God blesses our actions and we are able to receive new blessings and purpose that can then be shared with otyhers.
