No One Stopped - The Murder of Barbara Mae Tucker (part one)

Barbara Mae Tucker was 19 years old — a business student at Mount Hood Community College, a former high school athlete, the baby of a big, blended family — when she was murdered walking to a night class on January 15th, 1980.

In her final minutes, multiple drivers saw her flagging down cars on a road at the edge of campus. Not one of them called police.

What followed was one of the largest investigations Gresham, Oregon had ever seen: composite sketches, hypnotized witnesses, an FBI consultation, hundreds of interviews, and a community that transformed itself in real time — security upgrades on the college campus, building an entire neighborhood watch program from scratch, and refusing to let Barbara become, in her own mother's words, "just a statistic."

In this episode, we go inside the investigation as it actually unfolded in 1980 — the leads, the witnesses, the sketches, and a family determined to get answers.
