155 Years of Fun! What’s Happening at the 2026 Whiteside County Fair

The 155th Whiteside County Fair is bringing five days of agriculture, entertainment, food, and family fun to Morrison, Illinois!

On this episode of Along the Rock, host Kierstyn Long sits down with Abe Houzenga, publicity director for the Whiteside County Fair, to talk about what visitors can expect when the fair returns August 18–22 at the Whiteside County Fairgrounds on Winfield Street.

The Whiteside County Fair continues a long tradition of celebrating agriculture and bringing the community together, while also offering plenty of entertainment for visitors of all ages.

This year's entertainment lineup includes:

🐂 Tuesday – Bull Riding
🤠 Wednesday – Bronc Riding
🚛 Thursday – Monster Trucks + a special America's 250th anniversary fireworks show
🚜 Friday – Truck & Tractor Pull
💥 Saturday – Demolition Derby

Monster truck fans will also have the chance to see Bigfoot and get up close to the trucks and drivers before the show.

There are several new additions and improvements at the fair this year, including Kids Bucks, an interactive children's game show, a new Bingo Barn, new food vendors and a newly replaced ticket booth on the Orange Street side of the fairgrounds.

And, of course, visitors can enjoy livestock exhibits featuring cattle, horses, pigs, sheep and chickens, along with plenty of fair food and the popular milkshakes from the dairy stand near the livestock pavilion.

Children: $4
Children 5 and under: FREE
Adult Season Pass: $25
Children ages 6–11 Season Pass: $10
