Twenty years ago, a crystal-clear video of a UFO might have changed the world. Today? We'd probably call it AI.

Photos can be generated. Voices can be cloned. Videos can be deepfaked. Eyewitnesses can be wrong. Government evidence can be distrusted.

So maybe we've been asking the wrong question.
