Afternoon Delight --- The Not Quite Daily Beaver Morning Show (Monday Afternoon Edition)

It's another episode of The Not Quite Daily Beaver Morning Show... And today we have a Wrestling / Boxing Day Bite for you.

Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning at 7 Eastern, we livestream a (sometimes) quick take on the news, in addition to our usual formats.

Mr. Beaver was not able to make the morning show happen today, so we have an afternoon offering for you, instead.

On today's episode, we have a combination of political and social chat for you. We're still chatting about horrible holiday season travel weather, as well as some recent Christmas gifts given to fair-minded and reasonable people such as convictions and jail sentences for those who plotted to kidnap Governor of Michigan Gretchen Whitmer; more convictions and impending jail time for Harvey Weinstein; and a step forward on protecting the environment was Canada's single us plastics ban. We also discuss tweets of deeply unhappy people who just couldn't take a few days off for Christmas, the same miserable people losing their minds over the Prime Minister's family vacation to Jamaica. And to top it off we talk about a few movies we've recently enjoyed.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Happy Festivus, Happy Hanukkah, Joyous Yule... If you're celebrating something else, may it be with love and laughter. If you're not celebrating, have a kickass time doing whatever it is you'll be doing! All the good things...
