Jer breaks down how we got here, from Auto Tune and sampling to vocal manipulation, virtual performers, AI songwriting, and fully artificial artists. Technology has always changed music, but this feels different because it challenges the actual definition of an artist.

And are we ready for a future where AI artists, hologram concerts, and digital celebrities become normal?
