Hr: Ljetni vjetar nosio je miris soli nad Pula Naval Base, gdje su sunčevi zraci plesali po površini Jadranskog mora.
En: The summer wind carried the scent of salt over the Pula Naval Base, where sunbeams danced on the surface of the Adriatic Sea.

Hr: Bilo je rano jutro, 15. kolovoza, dan kada Hrvati slave Veliku Gospu.
En: It was early morning, August 15th, the day when Croatians celebrate the Assumption of Mary.

Hr: Tog dana, troje prijatelja – Maja, Jure i Ivana – užurbanim su korakom pratili svoj razred na izletu u pomorsku bazu.

Hr: Maja je bila ispunjena žarom i znatiželjom.

Hr: Nisu prošli daleko kada su se našli pred velikim, metalnim vratima.
En: They hadn't gone far when they found themselves in front of large, metal doors.

Hr: Maja ih je lagano gurnula, i vrata su se s tihim cviležom otvorila.
En: Maja gently pushed them, and the doors opened with a quiet creak.

Hr: Ulazili su u prostranu prostoriju s visokim stropovima.

Hr: Unutra, stari pomorski instrumenti šaptali su priče iz prošlosti.
