Psychotherapist Shavaun Scott joins Tony Brueski to ask the question the true crime audience doesn't want to hear: at what point does this stop being about the case and start being about you?

She recognizes the pattern in the Clancy comment sections — people channeling unrelated anger into a target that feels noble, mistaking emotional intensity for moral clarity, and using someone else's tragedy as an outlet for pain they haven't addressed. She explains why the people doing it can't see it, why the platforms reward it, and why the case itself gets worse as the audience gets louder.
