Yesterday, tech company Meta settled a lawsuit in regards to children's safety on social media. This ruling will make them pay out $18 billion dollars to 48 U.S. states and 3 territories. New restrictions will also be placed on Meta's apps, including a two-hour daily limit, pauses for children, no overnight notifications, no notifications during school hours, and more.
