Quite Frankly Ep. 65: If Things Don't Add Up, Rabid Weasels & the NY Voter Roll Audit

Quite Frankly Ep. 65: If Things Don't Add Up, Rabid Weasels & the NY Voter Roll Audit

Frankie Val themes the night around things that just do not add up, and invites viewers to bring their own top picks of the week. First comes the strange news tour, from a maybe rabid fisher cat terrorizing the Northeast (the media can't decide if it's a weasel, a fox, or a squirrel) to the improbable comeback of the CD, which sends Frankie fishing for everyone's embarrassing first album.

The centerpiece is a roughly twenty minute sit down with Dr. Andrew Paquette, the analyst behind the New York Citizens Audit. He walks through clone voter rolls, retroactively deleted records, and what he calls the spiral algorithm, a hidden numbering scheme he says took two years to crack and can restore half a million missing records. His blunt takeaway: the rolls can't answer the basic questions elections depend on.

With midterms two months out, Frankie ties it back to his usual uni party skepticism. Raffle night rounds it out.
